Graduation Information
Graduation ceremonies will begin at 7:00 PM on May 21, 2008. The ceremonies will be held on Pioneer
Field. The ceremonies will be moved to the gym should inclement weather occur. The Class of 2008 will be missed,
but we wish them the best of luck in whatever they choose to pursue, and know that we'll still see them around.

Senior Finals
Senior final exams will be given next Wednesday and Thursday, May 14 and 15. Seniors, please also make sure you have
returned any library books you may still have out, paid any fines or fees you may owe in the office, and pay any outstanding
lunch bills. Need transcripts sent out? Then go to guidance and talk to Mrs. Welker or Mr. Dillon. Happy

Senior Awards Night
Senior Awards Night will be held on Monday, May 12, at 6:00 PM in the Wayne High School Gym. The Senior video, which
is on sale for $10.00, will be shown during the awards ceremony. Come on out and see what YOUR favorite senior has won!
Seniors, we'll miss you, but we wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose to do with the rest of your lives!

Wayne County Teacher of the Year
Pioneer hearts all over the county are bursting with pride to announce that Mrs. Ruby Dyer has been selected as the Wayne
County Teacher of the Year for the 2007-2008 academic year! Mrs. Dyer teaches Senior English, facilitates Marshall English
102, Journalism, and Yearbook. Her yearbook and journalism students have often swept through competitions with high
scores and excellent work! Mrs. Dyer is married, has two adult sons, and a grandson. She has been teaching for
34 years. Congratulations, Mrs. Dyer! We always knew you were wonderful, and now the rest of the county does,
too!
