In Memoriam
The students and staff at Wayne High School wish to express their condolences to the family of Josh and Shawn Harless,
who were tragically and unexpectedly taken from us in an accident April 3. Josh was born September 6, 1989, and graduated
Wayne High School in 2007. He was employed by Portech Rail. Shawn was born April 9, 1991, and was an active member
of the Class of 2009. They were the loving and cherished sons of Charles and Jenny Harless of East Lynn, WV. They
are survived by their parents, two sisters, Alyssa and Amanda, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and various relations.
Two dogwood trees will be planted on campus tomorrow in memory of these two wonderful and popular young men.

Request for Student Artwork
Attention Wayne High School Artists! WE NEED YOUR HELP! Have you recently completed a really lovely piece of artwork?
Don't you think the school library could benefit by your brightening the place up? We would especially appreciate
seeing more pictures like the ones from Ms. Katie Webb's class, with their "Winter Trees" theme. We know
it isn't winter anymore, and that's why, if you have pictures of trees, flowers, birds, or anything else bright and
cheerful, you should bring it by the library so Mrs. Heck can post it on the two fabric boards above the non-fiction
section. See Mrs. Heck for more details.
