The Wayne County Health Department will be conducting H1N1 vaccination clinics at each elementary school in the county.
They encourage parents to have their children vaccinated. For those children who were under age 10 when they got their
first H1N1 vaccination this year, they should receive a second vaccination. The children under 10 should get their second
shot at least 28 days after receiving the first shot. These clinics will be open to any high school or middle school
student as well. All clinics will run from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Students and children under the age of 18 must
be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The vaccinations are not limited to certain priority groups, they are
available to anyone. There is no charge for the vaccinations.
The Wayne County Health Department encourages
you to go online to their webiste to download the registration form and fill it out prior to arrival at the clinic.
